New Delhi, Jun 18 (PTI) PEM hydrogen electrolysers maker Ohmium International on Wednesday said it has appointed Markus Tacke as its chief executive officer, effective July 1, 2025.
Tacke will take over from Arne Ballantine, who is also the company's co-founder.
With over 22 years of experience at Siemens and a proven track record in the renewable energy sector, Tacke will drive Ohmium's global expansion and commercialisation of its next-generation green hydrogen solutions, a company statement said.
"His unique combination of skills will be pivotal as we expand globally and deepen our commercial partnerships. We are confident he will help us meet and exceed our ambitious goals," Ahmad Chatila, Board Chairman of Ohmium, said.
Ballantine said, "I have full confidence that Tacke is the right leader to guide us into the future. I look forward to supporting the transition and seeing the company continue to grow."
The company is focused on further commercial deployments, manufacturing scale-up, and international market expansion.
Headquartered in the United States with manufacturing facilities in India and operations worldwide, Ohmium has a global green hydrogen project pipeline exceeding 2 GW across three continents.
With the rising global demand for clean, reliable, and affordable energy, Ohmium is well-positioned to assist in the decarbonisation of hard-to-abate sectors worldwide.
